I’ve had a lot of time for cross-stitch lately, so my Snow Leopard cross-stitch project is coming along nicely. I take pictures of it every couple of days, when I’ve made major progress. Usually I post those as separate posts, but this time I decided to save a few and post them as an animated GIF. Now if only I’d planned for each picture to be about the same size before I started, hehe…

Snow Leopard cross-stitch progress
People always comment on the time and patience it takes to do needlework. I find that it’s very soothing and relaxing. This animated GIF got me thinking, though…wouldn’t it be cool to do a time-lapse of a cross-stitch work in progress? But gosh that would be a lot of work. You’d have to set up the camera such that you could take a picture every stitch, or at least every couple of stitches. I think the end product would be fun, but I sure don’t have the patience for it!
