Butterfly portraits at Lukas Butterfly Encounter
March 1, 2008 - I went back to the Lukas Butterfly Encounter today and had a great morning photographing the butterflies.

| Photography Advice | Macro lenses are good for photographing flowers. A fast intermediate telephoto is my favorite for photographing the fast-moving butterflies. A flash often helps. |

September 7, 2007 - My favorite Lukas Nursery also has an enclosed butterfly garden with tons of free-flight butterflies. They raise the caterpillars and release them into the garden.
