I was able to catch Whiskey Loopy in action yesterday. He likes to chase his “loopies” (his little spring toys) around the house, but he buries them under furniture and then can’t play anymore. Usually he waits for Mom to come and fish them out, but sometimes bored cats sometimes have to take matters into their own paws. Whiskey is now over a year and a half old, but he can still hunker down and slither under our china cabinet, where many of his loopies come to rest. I heard him slither under, so I ran over with my iPhone to catch him as he came back out. He reminds me of a hot dog when he slithers – he’s so much smaller than Squirt, and long, and thin! Of course, as soon as he emerged, he immediately batted the toy right back under!
Note: Rich wants me to point out that the opening is only 3″ tall! Where there’s a cat, there’s a way…

Oh my gosh. This is sooooo funny. How on earth does Whiskey stretch out so thin and get through 3 inches of space. You r right. Where there is a will there is a way! From turning on the light to this is so funny and cute. What a furry ball of fun!
Would you believe that Squirt can squeeze under our couch, too? :)
