I looked out my window this morning and saw a male Painted Bunting at my feeder. It’s definitely feeling like fall!

Early morning is just a bit more comfortable, titmice are forming gangs, redstarts festoon the trees at the edge of the swamp – and a Painted Bunting has appeared!
