Today was Rose Care Day. Rich helped me fertilize, then I sprayed. It felt really good to spend the morning outside in the yard. There were plenty of birds out and we saw/heard cardinals, mockingbirds, house finches, red-winged blackbirds, grackles, and mourning doves (the usual summer crowd).

This evening I did not take my camera on our walk, and was I mad that I hadn’t! We saw four bunnies by the Pebble Ridge/Lakehurst boundary, and we saw two mallard families with little ducklings! You won’t catch me without my camera again… :-p
