I was pulling out a dead pentas plant today when suddenly I realized that it was staring back at me…upon closer examination, there was a freaky-looking caterpillar eating away at the plant. Apparently this is the caterpillar form of the Sphinx Moth, the moth that I mistook for a hummingbird last summer.
