Bok Tower hummingbirds photographed in better light

Posted

After seeing hummingbirds at Bok Tower last week, but not getting any really good pictures because of the cloudy day, we resolved to go back today when it was sunny and try again.

The hummingbirds that we’re seeing at Bok are all males, which complements my set of females from Callaway Gardens nicely.

On one of the back paths by Window on the Pond was this white eyed vireo, the first I’ve ever seen.

The Pine Ridge trail was virtually devoid of birds, except for this Eastern Phoebe, who posed on the top of a branch for me. Someday I’m going to see a scrub jay there!
